My first shipment of Hyperice products came in today. And now that I have had some time to test one and get a good assessment of its abilities compared to the Hypervolt, here is what I learned.
Power: The power of the two devices are very similar. I used the ball end attachment of the Hypervolt as the test medium as it is more comparable than the others. It wasn't until I reached the 3rd setting where I could notice any palpable difference between the two.
Noise: The Hypervolt is the quietest percussion massager on the market. The Hypersphere Mini is even softer. Even at the 3rd setting the hum is minor and will not disturb the actors of your favorite TV show.
Portability: Excellent! The Hypersphere Mini is lightweight and very compact. It actually fits in my cupholder in my Sentra as well as my jacket pocket when I am headed out the door. You will have no issues getting around with your new favorite lacrosse ball. It's also TSA approved as a carry on item. So you can make those long flights a bit more bearable too.
